~poem~ Valentine?

A word on manifesting - you kinda have to put in the effort depending on what you're trying to manifest. It ain't rocket science. So haha, had this grand plan of going to MacDonald's on Valentine's day morning.... anyway... didn't even get out of bed that morning, so that wasn't happening! Still like the poem though. It's like the story playing out of someone going on an first date and all that awkwardness that happens but is kinda kept hidden. Sweet!

What is love?

Two people fit like hand in glove

Be my valentine

Meet for breakfast @ nine

We'll wine and dine

On coffee and bacon

Sitting together at a seat that's not taken

Maccy D's?

That'll do it for me

Very handy, I've got a voucher you see

Last of the big spenders - hey, that's me!

Because you see

It doesn't matter

Where we go or what we do

It matters that we are a "two"

A couple, together

You and me, me and you

Living it up, loving it up

In our own unique style

And it's taken a while

To get this far in the race

To finally meet face to face

To sit at ease, with touching knees

It's the subtle things you see

That do it for me

Eye to eye, no longer shy

To share those feelings that bring forth healing

On levels that we can barely understand

Reaching heart to heart, hand to hand

And so the date comes to a close

This is the bit where we hope it flows

With a hug or a kiss, however it goes

Hoping there will be

An opportunity

For another date

With my new found soulmate
