~poem~ Stay Safe, Stay Inside

This morning I woke at 4:44 (not unusual anymore, but still makes me smile)

So I penned this on 4/4/2020

Like most of the poems, it spewed out in the space of minutes...

Probably after having been churning around in my head for a while

(triple four day - 444 angel meaning - surrounded by angels)

the next triple four day is 13th April 2020

The one after that is 22nd April 2020 - also Earth Day funnily enough

Oh triple four because

4 /4 /(2+0+2+0)

(1+3) /4/(2+0+2+0)

(2+2)/4/(2+0+2+0)

Anyway....

Stay safe

Stay inside

How to abide?

By these lockdown rules

No schools

No parks

No beaches

No shops

The planet is affected

Including the crops

Why? Why? Why?

We start to ask

Why?

Cuz we as a collective need to be taken to task

To stop messing with the planet

To stop disrespecting nature

"Mother" knows best

Do not try to test

But we did not listen to the cycles and seasons

Thought we were above the voice of reason

Thought we were above natural law

Our dear Mother Earth can't take no more

So, here we go, a planetary reset.

Our health is our wealth

Not profit, gross or net

Yes we need money

We also need honey

The bees

The trees

We need it all

To live and survive

We need it all

To stay alive

We need it all

To continue to thrive

So do what you can

To support your fellow man

Woman and child

No need to go wild

Start with yourself

Just do that bit

The rest will fall into place

And eventually fit

Into the grand plan of the universe and beyond

EARTH = HEART

Let's heal the earth

Let's heal our hearts

Let's heal ourselves

Let's heal each other
